2024-06-08 05:34:15 +0000 UTCWere chapters 94-96 published. I have a subscription but can’t open 94 and get the subscribe message. Do I need a higher tier or something. I don’t see the chapters as posts but only under Caleb.

2024-04-30 21:31:06 +0000 UTCand if we're talking about "pop's has a few cows and some land" this place would qualify :) ROFL. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitehorse_Ranch#:~:text=The%20Whitehorse%20Ranch%20has%20been,2)%20of%20public%20range%20land. Although that would be south of Portland :(

2024-04-21 16:37:49 +0000 UTCanother side thought, since you're talking mountainous areas about Portland heading North or East, chances are that 10 hours would not equal 600 miles, assuming 60 mph. For instance Spokane Washington is only 1 hour flight, but a 5 hour 11 minute drive by vehicle according to Google maps. My bets are that the Ranch is in Idaho which is between Washington State and Montana. Also there is an Elk Bend Idaho ;)

2024-04-21 16:36:10 +0000 UTCWeather/patio's and things that only make sense to Northe3rn Americans and Canadians :).... You can, and we do sit out on the patio/deck in the middle of winter. You can be hip-deep in snow and still only be about -1 to -3 Celsius . Some families have propane heaters that will provide some heat, but others will just accept that a good sweater, and wind protection are enough for 20-30 minutes outside. Just a Canadian's thought.

2024-04-21 16:30:47 +0000 UTCYeah, I thought that too, but then I thought Oregon was snowbound in winter too, but apparently not. It's not important and if it becomes relevant, no doubt PM will clarify. Cheers!

2024-03-18 07:22:26 +0000 UTCStarted rereading after this comment, originally to see if the state’s mentioned, but then bc I’m an addict. The weather seems like Texas, tho that’s impossible logistically. I do think that anywhere in Montana or Wyoming would be hip deep in snow over Christmas, not mildly chilly for dinner on the patio.

2024-03-18 05:55:53 +0000 UTCThe UK terms that slip into pm's writing always make me chuckle. I love it.

2024-03-11 17:12:00 +0000 UTCThanks for that. Thoroughly enjoying the yarn and just a bit anal about detail and backstory :) Google maps puts Great Falls just over 10 hours from Portland, so I'll settle on that area absent any correction. Even in Australia we travel from state to state for particular specialities so I get that. I've since discovered that PSU is associated with the Maseeh College of Computing and Engineering which probably makes it more attractive to someone with Jules' interests. Hehe. Like I said, just a bit anal.

2024-03-11 14:08:25 +0000 UTCI’m American and it doesn’t really help because I think PM is English. I always thought Montana as well, but I couldn’t find out why I thought that. But for your last question, why Jules is at PSU: lots of kids (even nowadays) go out of state - to state schools no less - for college (aka university in non-US english 😉)

2024-03-11 11:09:28 +0000 UTCWest Australian reader here ... struggling with geography, specifically, where is the Steadman ranch? Unless I missed a more specific reference, all we know is that it is roughly 10 hours by road from Portland (2.5 to 3 hours by G500), and that when Sarah was kidnapped and taken to Elk Bend, it was South-west of the ranch. Reference is often made to travelling 'up' to the ranch. Does that put it in Montana? Have I missed anything that would give a more precise location? ... Just wondering Further wondering if it is Montana, why is Jules at PSU?

2024-02-24 05:14:35 +0000 UTCLike The Maid after chapter 47, can we get a peek at what happened between Melanie, Sarah and Arnie? If so, that would be spectacular.

2024-02-11 04:57:52 +0000 UTCNot only another great chapter for multiple reasons but one of your most unexpected surprises yet. You always manage to put me in a better place with your writing. Thanks for that.
