That's right - if you contribute through apple in purchase system, apple are taking 30% of everything you contribute as a fee.
Please please please, if you subscribe through apple - CANCEL IT!!!! I'd rather get NOTHING AT ALL, than have that greedy bunch of leeches siphon off 30% for doing nothing.

2025-03-12 06:30:58 +0000 UTC View PostIt seems, that despite the account being on pause people have been billed. This is not something that I wanted and I have contacted patreon to ask them what went on and to refund all those who have been billed.
I have in the past refunded people whose billing happened in the periods between the pauses ending and me re-pausing as sadly I am only allowed to pause for a month at a time.
I thank all of you for your patience and good wishes.
I have (or at least will) unlock all the chapters on here to any paid members. I think you guys have waited more than long enough. Any new chapters, if and when i start writing again, will follow the weekly schedule according to your membership rate.

Sorry to do this again but the story is still not flowing so rather than just take money from you all for no content I'm suspending again. I do expect to get another Caleb chapter out during this time, that will not be affected by the suspension, and we'll see about LAJ.

I am back writing although its still a struggle, so i can't guarantee a weekly post. I'll put stuff up as its finished and edited.
Once again a big shout out to my editor Dr Mark who has been infinitely patient and just set to editing this chapter when i finally sent it to him.

2024-06-07 08:21:51 +0000 UTC View PostI had hoped that a month off would enable me to come back refreshed and ready to go, but sadly that just hasn't happened. I've been attempting to write the next chapter since god only knows when but my muse has left the building.
I still have a story to tell, but it's being damned awkward about allowing me to write it. I now understand how difficult the life of a professional writer must be. If i had to rely on my writing for my income I'd feel even more pressure than I do now and doubtless I'd have even more trouble.
Consequently I've paused billing for another month in the hopes that things will return to normal before then.
We'll just have to wait and see.

I need a break.
With that in mind I'm pausing my patreon page in this instance for a month. Hopefully after that time I'll have had time to recharge.
