The Show Must Go On
Added 2018-08-29 00:42:17 +0000 UTCHey guys! Just wanted to give you a little update. It's nearing the end of the month, and I've still got a couple things to do for you folks. Namely, color this thing right here, and do another Masho comic. I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna fulfill my commitments on time, but I wanted to talk to you about why.
I've been encountering a lot of problems personally. Stuff in my life has been just a nonstop carnival of extremely expensive and problematic nonsense, which has forced me to work really hard during a month where I already had a lot to do. The new Doodle tier is full of people, which is great! But my schedule for working on them was pretty tight, and it got barged in on by needing to do two additional full streams in order to cover shit just going belly-up for us, and that ate my time in a big way.
The Bad News: I might not get this colored and the new comic done before the end of this month. Obviously as you can see, I drew out the entire warmup, so I'm not sitting on my prodigious ass here! It'll still all get done, just maybe a bit later than I'd wanted. Sorry about that.
The Good News: This isn't emblematic of a trend. I don't have an appliance shut down, my car break down, my house need a massive wiring problem fixed, and my car having another issue right after that every month- the fact of all of this happening at the same time was a freak accident, and I could've easily handled any ONE of them happening- just not all three in like a week's time. I can handle this workload, I just need several catastrophes not to hit in rapid succession. :P
Anyway I just thought you guys deserved to know why there might be a delay on my end; I take my promises seriously, and your trust is important to me.
