Behind-the-Scenes Jan 2023 Week 5

Hi Deluxe everyone.

Here's WIPs for this week's artworks.

1. Ivy Underboob Pinup. It's still January, so I sketched up one more Ivy. I want to go for a more advanced curvilinear perspective for this one. You can see my wacky attempt at curvilinear perspective lines on the right side. I have the lines done and I left the rough sketch visible underneath, since more than a few patrons have told me they like seeing the rough sketches. I always keep the rough sketch as it's own layer when I work since it helps inform my shading when I start coloring.

2. Tsunade/Shizune Comic Part 2. The second part of the Tsunade comic released yesterday. This time more lewd. Same deal as above, I have the lines just about done, might make some tweaks here and there before coloring, and you can see the rough sketches underneath. When it comes to making backgrounds, I like to directly paint them without lining/inking since this draws less attention to the background and more attention to the characters. This will have dialogue, I just haven't added it yet at this stage, but will have it in the Wednesday update after I have started the coloring and painting.

3. Del/Poste Animation WIP. A rough version of Del slapping Poste's butt, which was voted in the animation poll. It has no color and Poste still needs to be animated in the foreground and bubble. Del's piercings are also missing. You can see some overlapping lines (Del's jacket overlapping Poste). That is because I separated them as their own objects to make it easier to animate. I'm still in blender at this point. I'd like to try to do this one fully in blender to achieve a certain style. I'll have another update next Sunday.
