Art Tip: Mapping the Face

Happy Art Tip Tuesday everyone.

Here's a method I use for mapping the faces of my characters. I think it's an easy method for remembering where to put the features, just halves and thirds. Even characters that use the same method can look very different, as seen with Poste and Flores. Poste has a cuter looking face while Flores has more of a mature look.

I have some tips I can make for designing a character with a certain feeling (cute vs mature). I think I'll continue there and after that I can either make tips on drawing facial features in more detail or some about painting and rendering (edges, colors, lighting, etc). Let me know which you'd rather see: more face tips or painting tips.
