September 16 Update

Happy Friday everyone.

I have some stuff today, mostly art previews and poll results. But first: Thank you to the new patrons who joined over this week!

First here are the art previews:

I have Inko and Calla ready for tomorrow's drop (Saturday 4pm PT). Dexter's mom still has work left. I bit off a little more than I could chew this week, but I'll have it ready for tomorrow.

Now for the poll results. The art poll for this month ended yesterday. The full results are available on the original poll. There was a 1st place tie between Urbosa and Poste, both at 13 votes, and a 3rd place tie between She-Hulk and Mirko, both at 10 votes. I said I would break ties, so I did. I couldn't decide between Poste and Urbosa for 1st place, so I flipped a coin and Urbosa got 1st while Poste gets 2nd. Between Mirko and She-Hulk, I chose Mirko. Here's the final results:

Overall, it was a close poll this month. For next month, I'll allow more requests involving my OCs in outfits, but I'll make sure to include both OC and fanart options. If the number of requests I receive increases, I'll increase the number of poll slots to more than the usual 8.

Last thing for today. This is about the Art Tips. I asked on Discord if people would be interested in little art challenges. There was some interest. I think I'd like to tie it in with the Art Tips. So I'll design little challenges around the art tips I've been making and post them both here and the Discord on Tuesdays every once in a while (no more than once a month for now). You can think of it as suggested practice for some art topics. I'd like to make one based on 1 point perspective for this upcoming Tuesday. The point of the challenges will be to have fun, share the art you made on the discord if you're up for it, and practice some art skills. I'll also be doing the challenges every time, both to provide an example and because it's good practice.
