August 2022 Artwork Week 4

Hi everyone,

Happy Saturday. Here's this week's art set, voted on in this month's fan art poll.

1: Previews.

2-6: 1st Place Manuela Painting. Manuela got 1st place in this month's poll, so I gave her a full pin up painting with multiple alts. I tried to keep the colors limited to the yellow through red range with a yellow light and red shadows.

7-8: 2nd Place Ada Wong Sketch. Ada got 2nd place so she got a sketch. I wanted a cool colored light for this so I pushed the colors closer to blue. I added vague zombie shapes in the background with a little blur. Keeping the value range tight and adding a little blur on background elements is a good trick to add detail quickly without taking away focus from the focal point.

9-11: 3rd Place Mercedes Sketch. Mercedes got 3rd place so she got a simpler sketch. I used this as a chance to practice a low angle drawing.

Okay, that's this week's artwork. Let me know what you think. Next week is Labor Day Weekend, so I'm going to make some Poste artwork and some unrelated fan art too. The week after will have the Monthly Tsunade artwork.
