Status Report - New Years Resolution (2021)

Hey guys! I know it's Jan 9 so it's a little late to talk about new years resolutions hahah, but I wanted to talk to you about what I'm planning for this year.

First of all, good news! After applying like crazy to many jobs I've finally landed a great gig! Sadly I can't tell you anything about it yet, except for now I'm only contracted for a month (it might extend for some extra months if all turns well) and it's a production for disney + (yaaaay!) I will be working from 8 am to 8 pm mondays to fridays (and saturdays half time) so I might get a little quiet some times getting work stuff done first.  

Now, on a more personal side. I feel like I've been struggling lately as an artist finding what I really want to do.. The thing is, I want to do MANY things! I want to design characters, learn to 3D model, do more painting, make more original characters and do pixel art and I can't seem to focus on one thing hahah.
The one thing I do know is that I reaaaally want to work in videogames. It's been my lifelong dream since I was a kid and I don't feel like I'm getting that much closer.  So I wanted to ask you.

If I move on a more videogame design/original artwork oriented way, would you be ok with supporting me still? 

I've been drawing the smash buddies for so long I kind of feel like my capability to draw original stuff has been dwindling and I really want to strenghten that. Don't get me wrong I love making fanart but after focusing on it for so long I feel like I'm not putting anything out there that I can proudly call my own and it's an odd feeling.  

So my plan for this year is to reorient my artwork into original videogame concept art, and less in the fanart direction I've had the past years.

It's a risky move since most of my supporters came from my smash series, but I really want to make my dream of seeing my art in videogames come true and I feel like this is the right call. (I'd still do commission work and the smash buddies series but they won't be my main focus anymore)
