Heh, itβs actually purely practical- I make a layer of a hot color to block where the negative space around the characters is, so I can easily visualize or select if Iβm working on the βforegroundβ or βbackgroundβ. Somehow over the years Iβve found this pink is pretty easy to look at, so itβs my default, but I also do some pastel greens and oranges for multiple panels.
