Hey Patrons!

Here is a new Pepper&Carrot episode after a long pause.

About this new story, I had too many "open doors" to close on the Pepper&Carrot series: Pepper's quest to find work, her "wanted" poster, her humiliations with spells not working as she wanted... She wasn...

This episode introduces a giant Phoenix and also sets what it costs to use the super powerful Rea of Dragon. I hope you'll have a good time reading it during this (very) hot summer 2022.

Hey! Here is a new episode in the continuation of the episode 31 where Pepper tries to use her new diploma. You might feel a RPG/high-fantasy influence in this one; this is a universe I love to parody.  This episode is a "part 1" of a series of episodes I wrote in January, at a ti...

Weekly 2018-12-24: Holidays and ep28 is in 'alpha' version

Hi Patrons!

My new method for episode 28 (for reminder: a single long vertical Krita document to ease re-reading the episode while I draw it) was really a good experience. I'll keep it! I took the last weeks working a lot daily to complete all the pages to the "alpha" version; a version I can share with the contributor who help me at proofreading.

If you are not afraid of spoilers, you...

Weekly news 2018-11-17: episode 28 storyboard and new coloring tests

Hi patrons, I'm writing you from Toulouse, sitting in a Coffee, a couple of hours before my talk at Capitole du Libre 2018. Thank you very much again for the warm welcome of the episode 27 "Coriander's Invention", it really had a positive effect on the confidence I had to produce a trilogy of episode with a bit more storytelling and events happening in the world of Pepper&Carrot.

So, during the first week of November I storyboarded episode 28 but once it was in picture and I could read it ...

Weekly news 2018-09-21: Scenarios of a trilogy

Hi Patrons!

This week I finally have the scenario for the trilogy of episode 27, 28 and 29. The hardest part was to find funny end-twist for each episodes and 'cut' the episodes into panels to fit the short format Pepper&Carrot.

For writing, I used the Ghostwriter. I really like this software for writing....

Weekly news 2018-09-10: ep27 storyboard, website's cache, reinstall of OS, website CPU and new home!

Hi Patrons!

I spent the last week on the story development of episode 27. It was a bit long to warm-up my drawing skill after a full month of DIY in the house so I took time to sketch and get back to my comfort zone. After a couple of day, I could start storyboarding and sketching the new episode.

I'm working now around the idea of a big event in the little world of Hereva named the "Coronation of Coriander". It could be a new story arc spread over three distinct episodes. It's an ambiti...

Weekly news: 2018-07-24

Hey Patrons! I'm right now in the last days of production to finish episode 26! As I start to get more and more colored panels, here is a commented work in progress of an ep26 panel from A to Z to show you the path I took this time:

1. Storyboard

The storyboard was done at a thumbnail scale on paper with pencils. The perspective in my storyboards is often very flat and I manage only in it "what elements the panel has to show" because I try to solve storytelling problems....
