Talking about the technical part for me it's always the concept π€―
Some artists call this "frankenstein" type of reference when you don't take an idea from one reference but use many and combine them into one that was born in your head, it's difficult but it's worth it cause it turns out just the way you want it as an artist π
Also I like my art somewhere on 4-th stage of drawing, when there's not much details/definitions and just simple impression, I might do some artworks in that stage cause they focus on the mood π€©
