Game Build v0.6.2.0 (Bug fixes and QoL)
Added 2022-09-30 17:54:12 +0000 UTCThis month's build is mostly focused on Quality of Life changes and bug fixes, with next month going to be focus on a combination of writing improvements (as we've figured out how to get our writer directly linked into updating the unity build, meaning we don't have to divert programmer time to do so, expect a few hot fixes with basic spell checking/grammar/story pathing improvements), and improving the army systems. The primary goal is to get it so that the player can generate new armies, as can the AI, as well as move them around in a sensible manner on the world map, and then to get them fighting randomly.
A subsidiary goal is to improve and fix the save system we have built into the game to allow us to better handle testing and jumping around in the story to find bugs, as well as make it more robust and stable in the first place.

Additions
- There is now a UI button to end the turn, although pressing enter or space still works.
Changes
- You can now move the camera by grabbing the map, or by moving your mouse to the edges of the screen. ‘Map scroll speed’ is a new pause menu option that modifies how fast you navigate with WASD and edge-of-screen scrolling.
- The balance of a few army battles in the Kobold Princess quest has been changed
- Siege battles now can be paused and accelerated. Time dilation is achieved through physics acceleration, so the system may have a few bugs.
Fixes
- Some sequence errors in the Kobold Princess quest have been fixed
- An issue that sometimes prevented battles from properly finishing was fixed
- Issues with battle backgrounds not matching their location have been fixed
- The error where hovering over or left-clicking to select a territory would frequently fail has been fixed
Known Bugs
- The visual bug where the red line occasionally glitches out is still present. It is fairly rare and is purely visual and therefore should not affect gameplay.
- Text may appear blurry. This issue is being worked on.
- A part of the Kobold Princess quest at the end will occasionally bug, where a conversation will not end properly because a certain territory is not properly being revealed. This issue is being worked on.
