Towergirls Charts: Gen 4, Gnoll Princess of Riskful Hunt Kingdom

No caravans move except on the very edges, and it acts as a bulwark against any travel into the imperial kingdoms of the far south. The Riskful Hunt is named both for the danger of the land, and that anyone living there is either a hunter, or one of the hunted. This land is desolate, but none so desolate as the lands to the north. Tribes scratch out an existence in this violence torn place, and to the south the imperial walls and armies hold back the bandit tribes. In this land, the Gnolls have carved a place.
The Gnolls are not like other beastkin. They are older, and more primal. They claim that when the Gods offered the gift of mortality to their ancestors, they denied it, where others took it, they remained beasts in limb and mind, and only the watering of their blood with mortal mates has rendered them weak compared to the days of glory and the ancient, endless war. They tell themselves that they are chosen, that they take what they wish, that the primordial divinity flows in their veins, never properly replaced by the mortality given to others by the Gods at the dawn of mortal time. They tell themselves these things around crude fires and half-tanned hide yurts, picking their teeth with the bones of their kills, as their stolen iron weapons rust and their self made flint tools crumble.
