Towergirls Charts: Gen 3, Arcane Puppeteer and the Era of Awakening

No one escapes the care of their parents without scars. Not even orphans.  What then may be said of the Dragon Queen's upbringing? Many across Corona have wondered what strange circumstances lead to that domineering dragon's draconian desires. Imagine if you will, a creature living long past the extinction of its own kind, raised by a construct designed to care for it and it alone. Its touch was tender, its care true, and despite all the incidental harm the queen wrought upon its frame it kept its stoic vigil ever supportive, ever the mentor.

Imagine this being inheriting the whole of its people's magic and technology. Imagine this incomplete, lonely thing attempting to recreate her people from the barest scraps of knowledge that she can salvage. Imagine her increasing disappointment and ill temper as each result fails to meet her high standards.

Imagine her regret and terror as, one by one, each of her creations takes flight (literally or figuratively) for greener pastures. Imagine being left alone with what slaves she can dominate or terrorize into obedience. These are the Dragonkin, and this is the Queen's relationship to her misbegotten children. Few fear and loathe her quite like the drakes, wyverns, and kobolds who have managed to escape her less than loving care. Now she unleashes her daughters to rage across Corona.  But to what end?
