The crystal folk, and all flora, and fauna herein live off magic. It is a place of stark, deadly, beauty inhabited by a predominately peaceful people. Few things can threaten it.
Indeed few people even know of it. But to the magically powerful it is a place spoken of in whispers. Those who would unravel the ancient mysteries of the Arcane and of the people who came before trade in hearsay and rumor. A storied few manage to make the journey there and should they survive return with obscure knowledge and powerful artifacts.
Survival here requires strength in both magic, blade, obscure threats, and lateral thinking. Despite this great abundance of danger, Raining Jewel Kingdom calls out to the daring and greedy. The Primordials left behind strange artifacts and obscure lore that might prove to unlock the secrets of the universe. Or at least that's what the stories claim. The locals are far too busy cultivating magical energy and dealing with the odd Gem-Eater raid to concern themselves with such frivolities.
