The Great Sphinx Queen keeps her realm orderly and controlled, and indeed, expands that lawful domain where possible. It is a place of culture and learning with great monuments and inventive solutions. A testament to the kingdom's power is the fact that its heir can afford to waste her time on strange games and idle pastimes. The kingdom's beastfolk have been shaped by the environment and differ more than a little from their supposedly chaotic and lawless cousins in both attitude and form, and as the Faelands grew, the peoples who escaped often fled into the bosom of Glittering Dune. Because of this, the kingdom is one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan of the kingdoms, accepting of any who enter it's lands, provided they are willing to unflinchingly obey it's laws and customs.
