The land is part of the Orphans, those lands of the west that are isolated by geography and climate. Mountains to the north and west, and terrible reefs and a storm wracked coast have made this place into little more than a legend for most of the world, a place where dreams can be granted. Now, the new kingdom fights for it's life. Angelic invaders encroach from the north, bringing cleansing fire and holy teachings, claiming to be rescuing the mortals of this land from insidious and chaotic forces beyond their ken. Now the kingdom's people call out not to the original object of their worship, but to her father.
