In the furthest reaches of the north, beyond which lies only uncharted territory said to be the domain of giants, there lays a land of hills and mountains that are so charged with magic, that they are used to build statues that move, and carvings that speak. It is here, it is said, that life first arose, and from the divine fires that fell to Corona in that ancient, primordial age, life has been locked into the very fabric of the land. Mages and wizards from around the known world travel to these lands to bask in the magic and to study the mystical power present within the loamy earth of these lands, and from the servants they have built, the idea of freedom has begun to burn brightly.
