【wip】 Hair texture painting and shape key creation

First, let's continue where I left off last time.

At the time of the last submission, only the textures for the sideburns had been created, and only the sideburns had a hair-like texture.

Therefore, I will create textures for the bangs and the back of the hair in the same way using drawing software. Apply the texture to the bangs to create a hair-like texture.

Since the back of the hair is much longer and larger than the rest of the hair, I begin by increasing the size of the image texture by a factor of 4 in order to depict the hair in a single textured image. I will draw in a large amount more detail than last week's texture for the sideburns. This was a very time consuming process.

Apply this texture to the back hair. All hair textures are now complete.

Next, I create the shape key. A shape key is a function that remembers changes in the position of polygon vertices and is useful for manipulating facial expressions. I will use this to memorize movements such as blinking or opening the mouth. In this case, I created 73 shape keys for the mouth, eyes, eyebrows, and so on. Let's combine them and try to create a laughing expression.

It's cute, isn't it? Next, let's try opening the mouth.

Nice mouth. The mouth modeling is appropriated from the previous Gotland, but I modified the throat cock to be larger. The mouth texture is also appropriated, but I will mix in a more realistic texture with shading.

Next, I will adjust the facial area.

First, I will highlight the eyes. Place a round mesh over the eyes and make the highlights glow slightly so that the shadow of the mesh does not fall on the eyes. For the eyelashes, I will create a shading that mixes a reddish gradient at both ends, which is common in illustrations of anime characters. Then, to make it easier to see the eyebrows, the shading is made transparent only near the tips of the bangs. The eye texture will be drawn from now on.

Lastly, I placed a light on the chest to enhance the texture of the skin. This is before placing the light.
