What a crazy week! If you had not heard, there was a bit of an incident in my apartment that has prevented video production. The situation is getting cleaned up, but things are still a mess.

So, what better way to escape the stress of the week is a whirlwind trip across the country! Hah

a. This trip was already planned as my adventure buddy and I were attending a wedding. But it was still a fast-paced excursion.

The destination was Rochester, NY, a place I never thought I would visit. Before the wedding,

we had a few hours to ourselves, so we took a drive based on instinct as we just picked a direction and drove. Winding through towns such as Scottsville and Pittsford, we made it as far as Mt. Morris and the dam before making our way back through the cornfields and homes all decorated for Halloween.

With the impending storm hitting the east coast, we were able to change our flights, which gave us a few extra hours and the opportunity to tour the George Eastman Museum, which is the home of Kodak. The house was beautiful, and the history of the camera and film that we know it was fascinating.

We also squeezed in time to head north and see Lake Ontario and try a few NY apples at Orbeck's fruit stand.

Although we missed the storm, our flight was still affected. I did my first sprint through O'Hare! Made it to the gate just in time and arrived safely in Seattle at 1am. Fun!

As you can imagine, I'm exhausted and sore and more than ready for life to return to normal.
