As usual life has been keeping me busy and distracted. I did manage to do some art outside of Green-chmas 2025, but as an added bonus I've included text-free versions of all 31 days of the December Growth Drive and the Finale as well. Thank you again for your support and patience!
Managed to draw quite a bit this month, including a couple Emerald Scale redeems. I'm really trying to get more of those done since it's been a few years now since I started giving them out, and I'd hate to think anyone ever could feel cheated or left behind. An actual Emerald Scale Redeem? In this Economy? Amazing!
I'm starting to once again nibble at those Emerald Scales many of you have so graciously been waiting for to use. This piece was done for Litan, a local friend of mine, for their remaining scales. Mataar the otter and Tongzhao the Red Panda haven't really caused too much mischief in their friendly gameplay, but shipping might need to be delayed a little longer just to be sure!

Tonight I thought I'd try out an idea of "Rent-A-Derg". Basically for $40/hr I'll scribble and draw and chat with folks and basically hang out for a few hours. Gin, Intel and I had a wonderful time talking about bigs and other things throughout the evening and I think it shows how I loosened up as the drawings progressed. Managed about three of these per hour as a potential benchmark. Perhaps I'll open up a little more for other folks now too.

Sorry I'm so easily distracted. With WoW's Legion Remix for the next 3 months and Silksong out, they're really dominating my ability to focus. Some of those bosses are really tough, and one even has a long runback, AND a gauntlet before you even get to face them again... I really love these games though and they're just begging to be completed...

I was out of town for most of the month and getting ready for my vacation for most of the other half, so unfortunately my mind was not in the art mindset for a lot of August this year. A few years ago, I ran a Growth Drive for myself where we grew March every day of March. As one of the stretch goals, I pledged to draw a one page comic for each $100 over the target we ended up, and we basically pushed it all the way to the max, a 10 page growth comic. I've been... struggling to focus on the monumental task ever since, but have been slowly making progress. I've seen these little chains of magnification bubbles, so I decided to make a brush specifically for them. Sift is >quite< large in this one here. Probably dwarfing TREE[G] or something similar at the least. As big as you can imagine that chain of magnification bubbles!
