2025-07-03 02:37:45 +0000 UTCI worked in the mental health industry for a few years as a Peer Support Specialist, and one of the most eye opening realizations that I encountered was how much sick people actively avoid healing when they aren't ready for it. It's incredibly unfortunate, and there isn't much that you can do about it except keeping doing what you're doing. If they ever reach a place where they are ready for recovery, they'll be able to see and hear your wisdom.
