Please find the digital PDF for my March 'zine, Why Did They Come?, attached to this post, or you can download it directly here https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/jf72tbyj18b0kyleefzs3/WHY-DID-THEY-COME.pdf?rlkey=raydznzrlcdcd0jyyimjtbicr&st=2oqwkizl&dl=0
At this point, physical copies have gone out into the mail for all $9 members of the Monthly 'Zine Club. Additionally, last week I posted a rough draft of a cartoon essay that I submitted to The New York Times for members supporting me at that tier. I haven't heard a response yet, so I dunno if anyone will ever get to see the piece aside from the folks on here. Check that out if you haven't seen it.
A word or two on my planned April 'zine:

This is a placeholder cover, first of all, and I don't have other images to share yet, because I've yet to complete any pages, but I'll be diving into this over the coming weeks.
I think I mentioned previously, I need to write a short cartoon essay about eating animals and the food supply that I can include in the new kids graphic novel I am getting close to completing. I have lots of ideas on this topic, but haven't yet figured out how I'm going to write about it for a younger audience. This April 'zine will not be the essay that I include in that book, I'm thinking of this more as warming up for whatever that ends up being.
With Spring Break in the mix, I think this one will likely be shipping towards the tail end of the month next month. Keep an eye out for updates as I progress.
Thanks as always for the support!
Mike

Trouble is, the people who need to read your "Why Did They Come?" have Maus on their banned book list. :(
