Monthly 'Zine Club - October Issue Going Into the Mail

I'm going to be dropping copies of the October 'Zine Club Issue into the mail over the next few days. Keep an eye out on your mailbox!

I had a lot of fun putting this issue together, and I hope you all enjoy reading it. When I say "leaning in to my 'Zine era" on the cover, what I mean is having a little more fun with collage, written pieces, and different sorts of material. I liked finding little thematic through-lines and interesting juxtapositions.

One minor unfortunate thing that I didn't properly take into account is that with the inclusion of more text, the small size of the 'zine that I was publishing at, would make it hard to read everything. I realize now that I probably need to scale back up to the standard digest sized 5.5x8.5 dimensions for future issues.

To make up for this, I'm going to be sending all members of the Physical Monthly 'Zine Club a link to download the PDF as well. I will do that in a separate 'Zine Club Members Only post. Many of these text pages are much easier to read digitally than in print. And, I sort of realized, hey, maybe I should just send the PDFs to all Physical Members anyway, just as a matter of course. So I'm going to start doing that from now on, as a small way of making what I'm offering here a little more valuable. And along those same lines...

Yes, I feel like I wasn't too far off from making this thing monthly, and I've decided I'm capable of being consistent enough with this to commit. So from now on, all 'Zine Club members can officially expect a new comic or 'zine, every month. As you can see in the pic above, there's already a cover to the November issue, in fact, I finished putting it together a few days ago, and have already sent files to the printer.

Keep an eye out for this one, I'd say in about the second week of November. Maybe we'll know by then how many very sleepless nights lay ahead...
