Scotch Egg Press - first update
Added 2021-08-09 12:46:58 +0000 UTCThankyou to my new "Scotch Egg Press Comics Subscription" backers! I am thrilled, and I greatly appreciate the support. I apologize for a few small hiccups I had rolling this offering out, I also appreciate your willingness to bear with me as I iron out all the details on this. It's a new thing for me, I expect there'll be a slight learning curve, but I am extremely excited about the basic concept, and the places that I think this project will go.
I wanted to make a short post to let folks know what to expect and when to expect it:
- Backers who sign up for the subscription in August can expect their first batch of quarterly minicomics to ship the week of October 18th.
- Packages will include a set of at least 3 (possibly more) signed and personalized minicomics, plus extras.
- The next package will ship three months later, and will continue on that schedule.
I made my first minicomic, pictured above, in part just to figure out all the nuts and bolts of putting a book together and getting it printed. They came out looking great, and now that I've reminded myself of the basics of putting together zines, I'm excited to create more. Thankyou again for your support, your backing makes this project possible.
I'll post pics of the additional minis as I produce them between now and October.
