Dungeondraft Integration v3.5 - Updated December 09th 2025

Exciting News for Dungeondraft Users!

We've heard from many of you about the challenges in launching Dungeondraft with all of our DD integration 3.0 asset packs. After some extensive research and testing, we're thrilled to announce DD Integration version 3.5 that should enhance loading speeds significantly.

Thanks to recent updates on Patreon, we can now create Dungeondraft packs up to 5 GB in size through the Shop feature. This means we’ve consolidated our entire library into just three packs, making it much easier and faster to load!

Please note that version 3.0 will be supported until the end of December 2024.

Important: Version 3.5 is not backwards compatible with previous versions!

 What's New in Version 3.5?

- Wood textures: Ashen, Dark, Light, Red, Walnut
- Metal textures: Brass, Gray, Polished, Rusty, Soot
- Stone textures: Earthy, Redrock, Sandstone, Slate, Volcanic

With these changes, along with the search mode from Uchideshi34, browsing terrains and patterns has never been easier!

We've come a long way thanks to your feedback and support. Our goal is to continue delivering the best possible experience.

Thank you all for being part of this journey!

Dungeondraft Integration v3.5 [2024/2025] product page

This product will serve as a repository of our Dungeondraft Integration 3.5 Packs, and will be periodically updated with new content as we release it until the end of the year 2025.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FAQ:

Q: Why is this product only for 2024/2025?
A: We do not plan on stopping releasing new content after the end of 2025, but since this is a "Shop" product, it needs to have a standalone price tag along side being unlocked by being a Patreon subscriber.

So we've opted for basically a "yearly" one-time-purchase option. Meaning that v3.5 [2024/2025] is also available for $195 - which gives same access as being a subscriber - all backlog content plus all updates up until the end of year 2025.

Q: Updates - do I just replace the current files?
A: Yes, delete the old version of the pack and replace it with the new version.

e.g. If a certain pack gets updated from 3.52 to 3.53, delete 3.52 and keep 3.53.

Q: Windows are not in portals, only window sills?
A: Since there are 684 window variants, we've decided to only include Window Sills in the "Portals" Tool and all the Window options as Objects that you can snap on top. It's much easier to look and search through in objects since there is no search/filter in the portals.

Q:  Are Legacy assets included in v3.5?
A: The ‘Legacy’ assets no longer match our current art style. Most of them have been already replaced, but you can still download them from
DD Integration v3.0 post.

Q: Why there are no Materials?
A: Materials in Dungeondraft in the current state don't work well with our artstyle, as the edges are too blocky and distort the textures too much. We will revisit and add materials once there is a bit more control over them.

Q: You just released a new pack, but it's not available in Dungeondraft why?!
A: Because it just came out and we didn't have a chance to convert it yet. It'll be integrated once we are done with the conversion.

Q: There is no X Asset, Will you add X asset? If so, When?
A: If it's Fantasy/Medieval related, probably yes.  No idea when, when we feel like drawing it.

Q: Do I also need the "Starter Pack" in addition to the Integration Packs?
A: No, Starter Pack just contains couple of pieces from the main packs as example, if you have the integration, you do not need the Starter Pack.

Dungeondraft Integration v3.5 - Updated December 09th 2025

Comments

I am just curious if anyone else is having problems with super long load times even on the new system? I am definitely experiencing the +15 minutes phenomena now, and it seems to stem from the textures pack being so large if the splash page has anything to say about it. My computer seems to be plugging along just fine, but for example i have been waiting more than 20 minutes for it to finish its thing this time and it's not opening. Not a complaint, just wondering if I'm alone.

Alex

I have a problem with FA_Objects_A_v3.51, every time I try to load it in Dungeondraft it crashes. The other two packs works fine. I have tried downloading the asset pack again and reinstalling it, but it still doesn't work. Dungeondraft is up-to-date. Does anyone else have the same problem and suggestions for a solution?

Karolina

Never mind, for some reason Dungeondraft is only loading one out of the three files

Troyificus

I can't seem to find vines in the path tool. Has this been removed?

Troyificus

I’m probably doing something wrong, but I loaded the 3 files (Objects A and B and Textures A) and I see very few roof options. In fact, I’m not really sure how I could build roofs with the available options, since they only seem to include the triangular start/end pieces. Am I missing something?

Emilio Martínez Rivero

Me too, do you know how to solve it?

Antonio Ravi

I may be running into an issue with one of the packs, FA_Objects_A_v3.51. For some reason, the download speed is very low. I thought it was from my end initially, but the other 2 packs were downloaded very fast, without any issues. Could it be a problem with the file for Objects A?

RazvanA

Yea I agree, also can't store them on my external when they get above 4gb

Steven Hall

Nevermind, I figured out you need to be at least a Wanderer level supporter now. Used to be able to get DD integrations with my old legacy membership but not any more seems like.

Kaspar Krzivets

Has the download location changed? The 3.5 Integration site only gives me the option to buy the pack.

Kaspar Krzivets

My main issue with this method of releases is needing to redownload anywhere from 600MB up to a few gigabytes of data each time. Big files, and from what I understand dungeondraft isn't designed to be able to recognize these new files for older map files, right?

CWilliams

Only the first pack loads into my Dungeondraft asset list, not the other two. Anyone else have this issue?

Trevor Speer

If anyone has their assets on an external like I do and its saying you don't have enough room its because your external is fat32 like mine, so while its a great change keep this in mind if you store things on an external and haven't formatted it to not fat32 you wont be able to store the files that are larger than 4gb, which is only one of them for now. Would have been nice to have thought about though as I am not in the position to format a external just for one file.

Steven Hall

They moved away from supporting the DD roof tool because it gives them (the artist) very limited control. The holes come from the 'edge' of each pattern. Scroll down on this post until you get to the part about roofs to learn more. There just isn't an easy way to support roofs with FA's more realistic style. It'll make more sense when you read this. https://www.patreon.com/posts/outdated-fa-3-0-56375276

Aurel Tristen - HellScape Assets

Hello, I've noticed that my roofs tool does not seem to have the actual FA roofs textures as a part of it. Similarly, using the rooves as patterns results in holes in the actual texture. Is this a known issue?

Forgotten Adventures

I've searched through the entire article. Who can tell me where the download link is??

huning

Not sure what you mean exactly, which assets are direct replacements of DD assets ? We dont really have 1:1 exact matches for DD ones, if that's what you are asking, our library is it's own thing, but majority of whats in DD by default should be covered, plus A LOT more extra.

Forgotten Adventures

Is there a way to tell what is the “basic” dungeondraft overhaul assets and what is new or are they all bundled together? Please and thank you.

Daniel Tobin

The flesh terrain and some other appear in the pattern shape tool for me and are broken in layers. Am probaply doing something wrong, any tips on how to deal with this?

nicolas theophanous

Will you be updating to include all the old snowy/icy assets like the paths, cliffs, trees, etc? If not, can I get those pls lol.

Eric Roberts

I wish this could be made a little more affordable to us on a limited budget. Maybe buying each pack separately or something.

Fionnuala J.

How can I update my maps, to Interogation 3.5 without drawing them again?

Mateusz Herrmann

does the 3.5 automatically update or do I have to redownload the pack with every new update?

Crys Phoenix

Hello, I can't find the links to download the 3.5 version. Can u help out?

Elias Villarreta

Previously ~3 minutes is now 45 seconds on an M1 MacBook. Amazing work.

Vorsos

Texture pack is painfully slow to load. Bundling the packs may have improved overall speed when all textures are used, but I'd previously been able to look through the asset tree and only include what I needed... If I'm drawing Dwarven maps what's the value in also loading all the Drow assets? (For example.)

Martin Dickson

I might not be doing something right but it seems like this change makes managing roofs incredibly annoying. They no longer adjust based on the range of tile to create a roof (2 sides split with something in the middle) and there is a gap in between roof tiles at every 5 tiles no matter how you spread the tiles.

AtmaW

Looks awesome, but loading the texture pack keeps freezing Dungeondraft. Both object packs load quickly, though.

crescentspade

Holy Mother of Batman! I stopped using DD because of the 15+ minute load times. Haven't touched in like a year. Saved up for a new laptop (Merry Christmas to me). That cut me to 7 minutes, which was a huge improvement. Then today I came here to update my packs and saw the 3.5 revision and installed those. NINETY SECONDS. You guys rock.

steve knowland

Hello there. Made a tremendous difference in loading time. Thank you all so much for the effort you put into this. Appreciate you!

Tokkosanji

YAY thank you! Downloading them now, so excited to have these in a more efficient format! Thank you to the whole team for doing this, it's extremely appreciated.

Mae Techmeier

Thats great ! Now the loading time is a couple of minutes ! Great work ! Unfortunately, I still have huge issues about RAM usage (to load the tree assets in dungeondraft I need 24 Gb of ram), someone knows how to solve this ?

Seb Ro

I was having the same problem and it's fixed now that I updated to the latest version of DD. Thanks for asking so I didn't have to lol.

Ian Croak

Intentional change, the only roofs in roof tool were legacy ones, which were left out. New roofs are available as pattern textures.

Forgotten Adventures

same with me

julian devos

Wow, loading took barely a minute, while it crashed the last time I tried to load all the 3.0 assets. Great work guys!!!

Christof Baumbach

Sounds like the Objects_A is not loading for you, make sure you are on latest DD version and that the downloaded file isnt corrupted (Try redownloading)

Forgotten Adventures

Not sure what I am missing here, but once I downloaded the 3 new packs, I deleted my old asset packs and uploaded the new ones. Now I only have the choice of Ceremorph walls and paths, no roof selections, and limited objects. Granted, there are a lot of objects, but there are a ton missing. for example, stairs and alchemy equipment. Am I missing something?

Jonathan McCarty

The roofs aren't appearing in the roof tool anymore

Razvan Ponivesc

What you did wrong was not reading the post. or skipping this part: Important: Version 3.5 is not backwards compatible with previous versions!

Forgotten Adventures

Dumb question: If I delete the old assets, add in the new 3.5 assets and load my map none of the items used from the old pack are present. What did I do wrong? Thanks!

Ouizel

Loading time in Dungeondraft with 3.0 about 3:48 Minutes. Startuptime with 3.5 (incl. Thumbnail generation) 1:30 Minutes. Color me impressed

H-DG

Patreon is the only site I have download problems with. Have from the beginning...doesn't matter what the browser is and nothing I've done makes it better. It's really annoying.

John-Paul Laflamme

We didnt receive any other complaints about that yet, so it might be something on your side. Perhaps your connection is not that stable and drops during the download. You might wanna try some form of download manager maybe?

Forgotten Adventures

It's going to take a very long time to download those files from Patreon. Downloads on here (Patreon) always timeout constantly. It's a very poor experience...for me anyway. I assume everyone has the same problem. My internet is fast otherwise (1.5GB download)

John-Paul Laflamme

3.5 is now available to all patrons

Forgotten Adventures

What do you mean? Lol

Zach Newman

Its here

SirNiloc

agreed, I keep delaying making my new maps hoping for the release to hit soon.

Mae Techmeier

Any update on when this will be released? It's been. About 4 weeks and Im itching to try it out lol

Zach Newman

Nope, you just need to keep those old packages around to load when you load up your old maps. Nothing needs to be maintained for the older files to still work with old maps.

Brandon Thornton

Thats a gamechanger!

Kuro

Thanks this will really help as I have to wait 15-20 minutes

Redwood

Awesome, im excited for less cluttered updates ❤️

marcus W

So to be clear, to access this pack will require the $195 purchase in addition to our monthly patreon subscription?

Brannon Lagrone

As stated in the post itself, Version 3.5 is not backwards compatible with previous versions! Meaning to edit old maps you'll have to load them with 3.0

Forgotten Adventures

What does this mean for existing maps that use the old scheme of textures and objects? Will they still work if I try to edit them?

Kristi Xaster

So, does that mean it'll be "free" when it comes available to all subscribers or is it still always going to be a purchasable product. My brain needs clarification cause im dumb

Rasconza

Yes the product will "unlock" for all subscribers after the Early Access period is over.

Forgotten Adventures

Forgive my reading comprehension So, this is a product, rather than a pack that's just available to download like the rest of the stuff provided through patreon? I've only be sub'd for a bit (can't remember when I started) so I'm wondering if this is something that will be available to all of those of us who do pay monthly, but can't afford a large purchase like this.

Rasconza

It's in the post: This release will be available exclusively to Explorers ($10 tier) as Early Access, allowing us to ensure everything runs smoothly before a wider launch. Once the initial testing is complete, version 3.5 will be made available to all our Patreon supporters. We expect Early Access/testing phase to last about 4 weeks.

Forgotten Adventures

Why don't I have permission to download it when I'm a subscriber? Isn't the grade enough?

huning

This has been so worth, thank you for doing it now with teh assets my load time has come down to just over 1m 30, and that was loading a 75/50 map (granted my rig is very good but that was still much longer)

Dungeon of Terra

so this means we will again lose all our maps once this is standard and the old packaging is no longer maintained?

PsychoWedge

Not only are loading times faster, but this helps out on file management since it's now down to 3 files.

IrkTheImp

The loading time is sooo much faster. Amazing job!

Romuald Joiret

They will be after they are out of Early Access.

Forgotten Adventures

Any chance these are added to pCloudSync?

Juan Antonio Ramírez

Ah, that's good to know. Thanks

Christof Baumbach

No, the Assets_B is currently ~70Mb , that's where new assets will be added (exceptions will be new textures, which will be a bit bigger redownload)

Forgotten Adventures

But does that also mean that every update means downloading 5 GB of data?

Christof Baumbach

This sounds like it could be huge!

Andrew Miller
