I've been playing Phantasy Star 4 on my Switch lately and this inspired me to create RPG assets. Today I'm sharing this set of 5 different enemies for your gamedev purposes.

2023-03-21 14:55:16 +0000 UTCThese are awesome. I wish there were more. I'm building a retro dungeon crawler in Godot for a course I'm making. I managed to animate the Wizard a bit by putting his hands on separate layers in Aesprite and pushing each layer around for 8 frames. I had to fill in some missing areas behind the hands. I wouldn't say it looks great but it definitely has a retro feel.
