In the end, to optimize the ability of users to pick and choose features, I decided to separate the features of the WIP into two different mods.
So instead of just one mod called 'Woohoo life', there will be two mods:
– the first one 'Expanded Woohoo' (containing ' Woohoo anywhere', 'Woohoo on any object', swinging features, multiple partner Woohoo features and Woohoo parties),
– the second one called 'Woohoo Life', containing Woohoo styles and roles, Woohoo drive, and celibacy features.
Re: all these features, I've been working on all of them of course.
I've drafted to the future description post, and added pictures and videos that are more up-to-date than what we saw in the Early Preview post of a while ago. You can see them here
For the feature by feature breakdown of current status:
There are parts of this that I have redone three times. This to say, there are little technical aspects that make this take a long time. For one example, the first way I was using to hide Sims caused a lot of little problems that I had to endlessly circumvent until it just wasn't worth it anymore; I ended up using another way that was better but I hadn't thought of it before struggling for a long while on the initial way. Additionally to this kind of problem, some things I haven't quite sorted out just yet, for example, how to integrate the paternity mod with multiple partner Woohoo contexts (How do I want Sims to react? How much editing of the paternity module would be reasonable to do to achieve such a goal?).
- ' Woohoo anywhere', 'Woohoo on any object', swinging features, multiple partner Woohoo: features are in good shape.
A lot of testing and some tweaking still needs to be done, as well as some changes to what is allowed for what Sim and what context. But overall, we are close to a finish line for a first version.
Because this has been a headache in many ways, the initial release will come restricted in the following ways: multiple partner Woohoo will be capped at three Sims for the moment, and there are four locations to start with.
If everything is proving to work correctly for everyone (ie, if we're not experiencing mod conflicts or other unforeseen trouble), I will proceed to add the ability to have up to five Sims at once in multiple partner Woohoo (that has been the final plan all along, and the current structure has been made with that in mind), and will add /enable for it whatever Woohoo locations you would like me to add also.
– Woohoo parties: lagging behind, Waiting to finish some other parts completely before dedicating focus to those
- Woohoo styles and roles: background systems done, player selection menus done, special moodlets and further effects NOT made yet
- Woohoo location preferences: done except for a social interaction and a moodlet
– Woohoo Drive: background systems mostly done, player selection menus done, special moodlets and further effects partially done but mostly NOT made yet. To make this meaningful, it will still take a lot of work.
– WookUp App: lagging behind, Waiting to finish some other parts completely before dedicating focus to those

I'm do glad you think so! Maintaining thematic unity helps people know what's in which and organize accordingly.... I'm always tempted to make big piles but I'm glad I changed the plan this time and that it makes sense to you!

2023-07-01 18:28:49 +0000 UTCNo, they ignore each other (so, compatible, but not integrated) Tbh in my view it's quite simply for different crowds. This is for people who don't want anything explicit but still want a bit more Woohoo options and gameplay. If someone has WW, they have no need for this more limited equivalent made for people with different preferences. If someone does want to have both, it's fine; but this is closer to the game itself and WW is its own thing, about which I know extremely little, and that means integration isn't necessarily feasible or desirable without impairing the goal of one of the mods If once out, I am made aware of a very specific part of it that could potentially be integrated with some other specific thing in ww and it seems a logical thing to do to me and turbo both, then maybe; but right now conceptually I see nothing of that - and also these are things we can't evaluate until my work is finished and released, which isn't far away now.
