Apparently from what I could find, the reason Gaoshun panicked when Mao Mao asked for the stable is because it seemed a bit privileged. Kinda like asking for pizza at Pizza Hut after your grandma just cooked a homemade meal. I guess it could just seem a bit rude or tasteless after Jinshi prepared her a nice room. Despite his favoritism I think he may have been testing her to see if she would ask for more? I was also kind of interested why Gaoshun acted like that so I had to find out lmao.
