Sauna in Spain 🇪🇸

Even in Spain, I go to the Sauna 🇪🇸 Yes, it’s warm but so is Finland in summer, and we still go to the sauna there 🥵

Why? Because nothing compares to that contrast!!! Stepping from the heat into cold water 🔥

That shift between hot and cold, tension and release… it’s when the body feels most alive, and completely at ease 😊

Honestly, I’d probably go to the sauna even in the Sahara 😅

Steaming off in a tree 🌲

After the heat, I often climb up into this tree to cool off. There’s a perfect branch where I can sit and rest, hidden just enough that most people don’t notice me 🤭

In the evenings it feels especially nice... quiet, private, almost like I’m an owl watching from above 🦉 Every now and then someone does notice, and their face lights up with surprise 😁 There’s something joyful about seeing a person perched in a tree, and that joy reflects back to me too!

I was barefoot on the moss, in a white linen dress that quickly got soaked, staying in the water until I was shivering and my teeth were chattering 🥶 It was raw, uncomfortable, but also strangely beautiful 😊

I’ve been feeling a little low these past days, keeping mostly to myself... Today I decided to fast. Autumn is arriving, the air is cooler, and there’s a chill in the evenings but thankfully, there’s the Sauna ❤️‍🔥

Just knowing I’ll step onto the warm benches later already lifts my mood. From inside, I can look out at the autumn landscape, and even dare a quick dip in the sea. In Finland we swim year-round, no matter the season 🇫🇮

I tried to stay cool in 😎 because honestly, being naked in the sauna with friends is nothing unusual in Finland. We’re used to it.
