So the thing about most of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is that most of just barely have 12 girls you can use for these, and thats a very loose interpretation of 'can'. While I love obscure and minor characters even I have a line where it gets a bit too 'background scribble' to bother using. And so instead of having 2 really generic changes using like, Alexis' friends or Echo we settled on...

Flash's Thoughts:
Me and Rabbit shared a fondness for the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Manga which for those who don't know is essentially an entirely different plot to the anime, Jaden even uses completely different Heroes.

Seika is the two-time 'Miss Duel Academy' but ends up tied with Alexis in her third year with Jaden being the only student who hadn't voted being uninterested. This ultimately leads to Alexis winning through a duel. Seika later wants revenge for this and this sequence is a version of that where she still values beauty over dueling instead of learning a lesson.

Funnily Seika is kind of presented as more of Jaden's love interest in the manga despite only a few appearances as, Bastion actually gets pushed a lot more as Alexis' partner.
