Inko vs Izuku WIP 1
Added 2022-04-18 03:10:31 +0000 UTCI'm sorry that this took so long! There are still some minor details that need to be ironed out in this scene, but for the most part I'm happy with how it turned out.
The headscissor sequence went through quite a lot of changes before I settled on a technique I was happy with. My original ideas for it weren't panning out so I had to find a different reference.
My plan for the follow-up scene is to have Inko sweep Izuku's legs by pulling on the backs of his knees while simultaneously swinging her body in order to land butt-first onto his face, but it's subject to change.
The goal is for both this and the TMOM animation to be finished by the end of April. While I'm unsure if that goal is attainable as of this moment, I can for sure say that this specific animation will for sure be finished in that timeframe.
I'll try to have another WIP of this animation out for you guys real soon!

2022-04-21 00:23:14 +0000 UTCI think the headscissor sequence looks a bit off because I haven't finished animating the tail end of it yet. After she locks her legs around his head and they bounce for half a second, there's another half-second where they're both sort of just frozen in space before it transitions to the next scene. I think it'll look a little more natural if I quicken the transition to the next scene in addition to adding a little bit more movement to the end of the headscissor.
2022-04-18 20:42:11 +0000 UTCIt looks great so far, I love the transition from Inko punching to Izuku’s confused face to the realisation of where she is. I thought the headscissor looked a bit funny at first but after I watched it at .5 speed, I realise that it’s animated correctly, I think the speed of how fast she locks herself into place threw me off initially. The follow up scene sounds great, I think we’d be happy with whatever move she does, as long as she “trains” Izuku against those pesky poisonous villains. The timeframe sounds great, I think that we’d all like to see it sooner but we all understand how time consuming your animations can take to get right, I for one will be waiting patiently for this to blossom.
