It's important to note that this is Romance story with Sports as the conduit to tell the story, not a sports story with a slice of romance included in it. I haven't watched any sports anime, but you aren't going to get full episodes of a match which I'm assuming happens in a sports anime. So I would say the split between romance and then sports is probably 70/30. As I said, sports is the central focus for the characters and main motivator so it always will be discussed or brought up, but whether we see the actual game, match, or whatever is up to what is important in the story. I will say hopefully not spoilery important sports moments do get covered.
