No new names today for me to break down :( To be honest, I think you're right on the money with Priscilla. Like how she liked how Lilliana turned her down with resolve. Its a theme of this episode but I think resolve is what she values above all else. A flaky resolve that makes you seem unloyal she hates but when you say it how it is, she really likes that. The way I interpreted the scene with the dragon and the dogs were that they're two curses fighting eachother. Remember last episode Capella said if you succumb to the curse the results will be crazy. We also know that Subaru technically hasn't removed the dog curse from s1 and instead Roswaal killed the dogs as Betty said it was too difficult. If it's not that, I have no clue. Also one thing. In waiting for this episode I rewatched s2 as it has a lot of lore drops and if you remember Emilias trial about the future, Crusch says that she will not give in or lose to a curse. Maybe this is that curse? I'll have to go back and find the other quotes, might be more hints mixed in.

2024-11-08 18:07:52 +0000 UTCI actually think I disagree, I think you see Capella's humanity in her rambling out how love is not real and lust is all there is. I would have to imagine this ideology came about as a result of some traumatic experience she had regarding the issues at hand. I actually think the gluttony twins are the ones I don't see humanity coming from in the slightest. They find joy in eating and getting drunk on peoples memories and existences. I just don't see any humanity coming from that.

Interesting thing to me so far is that witch's cult leaders often seem to have some humanity underneath the corruption where you can see they were decent once. Even regulus seems to have a sense of treating people with respect, which probably shows who he was before. But right now, capella doesn't show much humanity at all. I'm curious.
