2021-08-09 15:44:56 +0000 UTCFor some reason on my first watch through it didn't click with me that Gilbert said "I love you" to Violet who was less than 14 at the time, but I think subconsciously I corrected my thinking to think his "I love you" was more in a fatherly type of love, and that's what I'm going to stick with thinking so it seems less weird. Because really Gilbert raised Violet. He was the only support she had and he treated her like a human rather than a tool.
