dont have your expectations set too high for the movie, it's just another thing but it's good! for me it's great to watch when i miss it. if you like the bebop movie, i strongly recommend watching the more modern 2011 Trigun movie. it's like a random episode from the tv series, re-introduces characters, and spoiler free (similar vibe to the bebop movie). back then cowboy bebop and trigun were inseparable, couldn't bring one up without the other but sadly trigun hasn't aged well.
