Farrago; one year later
Added 2022-05-06 18:55:36 +0000 UTCOne year ago I started sharing Farrago with the world, and boy what a journey it’s been so far. Since I don’t have a new page to post today, I figured I would share the never before seen original concept art from 2020 when we first had the idea for the comic.
My fiancé and I came up with the concept of these 4 characters in early 2020, and we loved them so much. We would text each other about them between our classes and I started doodling them in my free time (the original 4 sketches on the first slide I did while working at my old job in the university library). We had a lot of characters we shared and would talk about, but there was something so linear about the story of these four that would seem easy enough to follow from an outside perspective. We had talked about creating a comic together for a long time and didn’t have a strong enough story or the motivation to bring it to fruition, but something about this idea was really compelling to us. I started drawing them more to nail down the designs and summer of 2020 I started working on the first official pages of Farrago!
