Love this movie so much.
Hitchcock is seen in the movie when Marion Crane enters her work place you can see Alfred Hitchcock through the widow, standing there.

There are so many classic films that I am sure you will enjoy! I don't know if you've already seen Rear Window and Vertigo for the channel. Let me first say that I absolutely **LOOOOVE** these two films (which I see as strongly linked; I recommend RW first), but if you haven't seen them yet, may I suggest waiting until you watch It's a Wonderful Life at Christmas? All three films feature one of the great Golden Age stars, Jimmy Stewart, but I really think Rear Window and Vertigo are more meaningful after first watching Stewart's incredible performance in It's a Wonderful Life.
But if you've already seen Rear Window and Vertigo, it's not a big deal! You'll love them regardless. Other classic films to get you started: Casablanca (1942), Roman Holiday (1953, Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck), and North by Northwest (1959, with the amazing Cary Grant!)
Can't wait to see your journey through film history! (BTW, for It's a Wonderful Life, please watch the B&W version in high-def, not the awful colorized one! π And also avoid the "abridged" version on Amazon. I'm sure someone at Popcorn Roulette can guide you toward the correct version.)
