2024-08-08 17:30:29 +0000 UTCI suppose there is that side to the bias, isn’t there? I was simply thinking and talking about the positive biases, but you’re right. Negative biases can really get in the way of enjoying media.

2024-08-08 17:26:26 +0000 UTCI will also add that I try to be unbiased as I find that when you start to lean into a bias too much, you can quickly lose your objectivity when it comes to understanding characters. I don't want to lean into hating a character/misconstrue said character because I like a specific one so much and am so biased towards their actions.

I don't have a specific reason for doing so but in a series with characters as dense as this one i want to give everyone a chance. And it's also not impossible for me to attempt to be unbiased while also cheering on my favorite character at the same time

You just need to have fun watching the show the way you find it most fun, and us reaction watchers will get our share of fun watching you have fun. Since you like Kana's character, you can just wear your bias on your sleeves and cheer on for her, and we will find that fun to watch.
