Yeah I would imagine he refilled it for her given how they are still not close like that at all, but yes very enjoyable first episode despite the premise lol

Actually your first reaction of the day I've watched as I wanted to start off with that nice chill and like you said mature vibe this show has. Really liked that bit at the end too figuring out the light switches. I also want one of those automated bathtubs lol! I think he drained it and refilled it for her, normally in Japan I think they shower first outside the tub then get in to relax so the whole family uses the same bath water, but I'm thinking he refilled it for her.
