This episode was fantastic in all aspects, if this is what the series is going to look like going forward then I'm beyond excited!
I do think I need to stop pausing before things get explained lol, because then I end up going on a rant about something that is quite literally about to be explained to me in the next sentence...

2023-10-19 22:57:26 +0000 UTCThe adaptation of Oregairu is very good for the most part but especially season 1 and 2 cut out some scenes and a lot of Hachiman's internal monologues so it's a lot easier to miss certain things. Would you LN readers to give you extra context on missing scenes and Hachiman's thoughts? I would make sure to not spoil anything.

2023-10-19 21:58:24 +0000 UTCYou are absolutely correct with your interpretation, Hachiman wanted to cut off their relationship, Yukino proposed a better option, not much to add in that regard. May be nice to mention that at the end there Yukino was actually really relieved that things were so easily fixable. She obviously really cares about Yui at this point and therefore their relationship as a trio is important too. She had been worried about how it was gonna turn out but realizing that it was all based on what boils down to a bit of a misunderstanding made her quite happy. She didn't only leave the room to leave them to themselves in my opinion, but also because she was happy things were going back to normal and was a little too tsun tsun to stay haha

2023-10-15 08:01:46 +0000 UTCTheir voice and tone is a given but I would say body language is a pretty big thing in this show, if you can decipher some it can give you big hints on what's going on in a person mind. For instance in Yukino last scene, or the one you saw where Hachiman was put off by Haruno approach and moved away because she felt "fake" to him. Nice movie reaction, enjoyed all of it :D
