Big day today! Thanks for checking it to see what happens!
I just got done showering, putting on my makeup and blow-drying my hair. Hang on a moment as I get dressed.
Ailana left the bathroom and went into the bedroom of her motel room. She dug out from her suitcase a black t-shirt and tossed it on the bed. Then she grabbed some blue denim shorts and pulled them on.
Afterwards, she took a seat on the bed.
I'm so hot from drying my hair. I hope you don't mind if I just sit her and cool down a little.

Today is going to be a busy day, but aren't they all? The most important thing of the day is getting to that warehouse and cleaning it up some. I know LA is not the only city in the world with homeless people, but it's the city where I am, and I have a chance to do something.
Ailana frowned and looked down for a moment, then sighed. She reached for her t-shirt and put it on.

I don't mean to be a killjoy, but the more I think about it, the more I feel like many people in the world have just accepted homelessness as something that's going to be and they just don't do anything–mainly because they don't think to do anything. I believe most people have enough love inside them to, if they stopped to think about it, do something.
So, that's where I am. Heading to the warehouse today to clean it up some to show a few potential donors what I think might be done.
I'll also be going to another baseball game later! This time, I will be joined by Kristilana Antonov, and we will be doing the T-shirt cannon. That should be fun! Kristilana thinks we should hit the beach afterwards!
I think it will be a really fun day!
Ailana got up off the bed and picked up her iPhone then sat down in the floor. She swiped open text messages, then looked up. Putting her phone to the side, she smiled, as if whatever she had seen pleased her.

Do you remember yesterday I said that I got a call from James King and that he had crossed paths with Gioni down in Miami. I got another picture from him. I'm not reading anything into it, but it looks like they are having a fun time! I'll share that later today, too.
Ailana took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
Okay, time to get going. Getting a little cleaning done at the warehouse is a small, first step, but it is definitely a start.

This is not going to be fun… But it will be worth it, if my idea comes to be a reality.

Ailana began picking up the most egregious trash from the key areas she wanted the benefactors—the potential benefactors—to see. Bag by bag, she took them out to the dumpster.
She had arranged tentatively with several volunteer youth organizations to come, should the potential donors decide to take action, at a later date. But to get ready for the visit the next day, the task would be Ailana's alone.

Bag by bag, she carved out little places in the warehouse that would help the visitors on the next day better catch the vision Ailana had for the spaces.
The location was perfect in some ways; just off the beaten path, but only two small blocks from a bus station. Ailana knew that, if jobs were available somewhere in the city, those she hoped to help would have to have a way to get to them.
Ailana wasn't naive. She knew that homelessness was a complex issue caused by many things. Some people without homes were ill or otherwise unable to hold down a job. But there were some… Some who just wanted a chance to get started. Ailana hoped the potential donors would understand that and see her vision for a housing and training center.
The morning hours passed as Ailana kept working. It was dirty work, and by the time she hauled out the last bag, the shower taken earlier was rendered utterly moot.

Well, I'm done. And filthy.
I made a pretty bad choice when I decided to not wear shoes. I am fond of bare feet. You might have noticed. Or maybe you haven't.
Anyway, I am wondering if there's enough soap in the whole county to get me clean!

The dirt oozed through my clothes! I'm dirty even under my shirt!

I've got a lot of washing to do before I head to the stadium!
Ailana eventually got clean and dressed for the game. She hurried across town to the stadium where she met Kristilana Antonov who would be working with her for that event.

I never knew how much fun it would be to launch rolled up T-shirts into the stands. I never knew how wound up the crowd would be!
And I never knew how tiring it would be to run up and down the baseline between batters!
But we did it.
The game is over and most of the crowd has left. Kristilana I are finally done. The last fan took the last "selfie" with us, and we are finally free.
Now, if I recall correctly, there's about to be a trip to the beach for us!

Ailana and Kristilana left the stadium and headed for the closest beach. It was relaxing and peaceful.
When they had had enough, they parted ways and Ailana headed back to the motel.

Tomorrow is a big day! I only hope I can share my vision for the warehouse well enough to get some support.

Wish me luck!
