Enlisting in the Parachute Regiment in 1998, he passed the grueling SAS selection process in 2002 and participated in numerous high-stakes operations, including multiple deployments in Iraq combating insurgent networks. Today, he is an advocate for neurotechnology, exploring wearable devices to enhance human performance and detect neurological conditions early.

2025-05-21 21:14:45 +0000 UTCWonderful interview. The "Herc" = C130 -H model. There are two models of the C130, the H model and the J model. J is bigger/ longer can carry more troops and cargo than the H (for context, I'm prior aeromed evac). The way he describes his time in service, training, and his upbringing was incredibly vulnerable, transparent, and moving. It's interesting to see how other countries train their Soldiers, TACP, Airborne, PJs, Marines, etc. And, the bit on neurophysiology was absolute gold.. 😊 Thank you for having him on SRS crew.
