On the bright side, I did my taxes and I didn't end up owing any money, I'm also making more from Youtube now so i'll start putting my own money into the project again soon since I'm not afraid i'll need it.
I'm still working out how ham-fisted I need to be to explain the more unique concepts within the world. Might go back and do some clarity edits if people don't understand what the thing in the glass vile and what its used for in the world.

I made a slight mistake and organised a late redo of a specific panel for the sake of clarity. this put us behind a little so its going to be a day or two before this months chapter comes out.
Sorry for the delays.
Probably not going to do big announcements on youtube or anything until we get more out since we're only like 5 pages a month right now. But! More Airlock Bound.
On the bright side, youtube's picking up a bit more with regular videos so after I handle my taxes I'm gunna pump some of my earnings into more pages. Probably the chapter after next but I might be able to get a couple extra done at the end of the month once I get paid by youtube.

It should be noted, this isn't indicative of the final product. I'm just getting some feedback on what I have.
For example the first 4 pages have highlights mid tones and shadows done by the same artist as everything else. Unfortunately this would be too high of a workload for consistent pages from them. So in the final version, we'd have an extra person on board as a colorist to hopefully do full color. So yeah, final version will look a bit different.

Everything's on schedule for release. Pretty excited to show all our improvements.
From there the plan will be to release every month. A big thank you to all you early donors who are helping me hold off bankruptcy for longer and keep the comic going.
That said chapter 3 might run into delays. Unfortunately one artist is moving home and another is getting surgery. We don't have specific dates yet so its hard to plan around but its very possible it's too much to work around.

We're one month in and on schedule. The art director has finished the sketches for chapter two and they have been past along to the editor, line artist and shaders. The art director is now working on the buffer and regular chapters are on schedule to start next month.

We're currently doing some quick checks and tests with who we hope to be the new storyboard editor, things are going well. I'll update with some examples when they're fully fleshed out.
We had some light model sheets prior, but with a storyboard editor coming on board soon, (haha "on board") Fay, the art director has started to redo them. Assuming we've made the right choices with our production changes, the character should look like this consistently now.
