Great episode! I think most people have the comedy stereotypical vision of a “home schooled” kid. Wins the spelling bee, Geek, awkward Napoleon Dynamite type. There might be a few of those and realistically they probably would be geeky and awkward in public school. Except that they have been bullied and shamed in that public school house. The home schooled kids and adults that I know are amazingly intelligent, are problem solvers. And their parents are smart. Looking back I wish we would have homeschooled our son. I left schooling to people that I don’t know and friends he made that led him down paths I wish he had not taken.
