Over the course of his Air Force career, he flew F-16s in multiple combat deployments and held roles in leadership and training, earning a reputation for his strong work ethic and focus on mission excellence. He served as the Mission Director for Inspiration4—SpaceX’s first all-civilian orbital mission—and continues his journey into human spaceflight as a pilot for the Polaris Dawn mission, part of the groundbreaking Polaris Program.

2025-04-06 17:33:40 +0000 UTCHey Shawn, I am not harping on you as a ‘new believer’; I only want to help in your enlightenment journey. I heard you mention that not even Jesus knows when the end is. That idea comes from Mark 13:32—“no one knows the day or the hour… not even the Son”—and you’re right, that’s what He said. But there’s a deeper layer to it a lot of people miss. When Jesus said that, He was walking the earth in full humanity. Philippians 2 talks about how He “emptied Himself” and took on the nature of a servant—meaning He voluntarily set aside access to certain divine attributes while He was here. So yeah, at that time, He didn’t know. But after the resurrection, it’s a different story. In Matthew 28:18, Jesus says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” He’s not operating under human limitation anymore. And check out Revelation 1:1—“The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon take place.” Jesus is the one revealing the future now. Then in Revelation 5, He’s the only one worthy to open the scroll—that’s God’s end-times plan. You don’t open a scroll like that unless you know what’s in it and you’re in charge of carrying it out. Also in John 16:15, Jesus says, “All that belongs to the Father is mine.” So if the Father knows, Jesus knows. He wasn’t saying He never knows—He was saying that in the moment, during His mission on earth, He was walking in humility and obedience. So yeah—today, the risen Jesus does know when the end is. And He’s the one who will bring it about, right on time.
