Hi Patrons! We just crossed a big milestone for Story #9 - the rough animation for the entire episode is complete!
We knocked out a hefty 30 scenes over the past month, and we only have a handful of scenes to ink & cleanup. All of the work I've been working on since June has been spoilery, so I won't go into big detail, but rest assured that it contains some of my best animation work. It really felt like some "level-ups" we're achieved.

Here is an update on what we've been working on - and the summary is pretty simple.
We've been grinding out a ton of rough animation and cleanup - nearly 3 dozen scenes animated since our last update! I'm very pleased with our pace, and I intend to keep it up all the way to the finish line of Story 9!

Although I love stick figures, I like to practice human figures once in a while. I feel like it's something that every well-rounded artist ought to do, even if they have a specialization. It's definitely something I want to get better at, since animators tell incredibly mature and touching stories with non-cartoony characters.
