They could teleport through magical birdhouses to relay messages and small items, so that I could keep old locations relevant. I introduced them to Apricot, the head pixie in the starting town. She was bright, bubbly, and wanted in on the ground floor of this party. ... They immediately distrusted her and accused me of seeding the BBEG early, that she would betray them, all of that. So I threw her sheet in the fire, but I still wanted the mail service to be a thing. So the next town, the Pixie was Cavendish. He was a dry, sarcastic, snarky asshole that couldn't be bothered to look up at them half the time. The party ADORED him. They would constantly use the mail service, if just for the sake of getting roasted, or "Dished", as they called it.
