Those crash-outs, valid or not?
This chapter title is loaded with meaning. A lot of mysteries are finally getting revealed, and a lot of questions I'm sure you all have been holding onto for months are finally getting answered.
I did worry, of course, about how passive some of the characters might have come across in this chapter, but I did my best to show why things went the way they did. You guys will have to tell me whether it was convincing or not.

The final confrontation is on the horizon. Things are building towards the climax of this Singularity, and everything is starting to unravel. In the meantime, there are a few more reunions happening here, a few more near-death experiences, and Medb gets to do what she does best a few more times (read: make a nuisance of herself).
Next chapter is called "Head of the Snake" for a very good reason.

The title of this chapter is not quite as accurate as I would like to be, even though it is technically very accurate. I really wish I could give all of the fights that start in this chapter the dedication and the direct attention I want them to have, just have loads of the written word's equivalent of sakuga jumping off the screen for all of you, but the limitations of Taylor's perspective make that something I would have to put in a series of sidestories instead.

I hesitate to put a number on how many chapters are left, just because I'm not sure. There's a lot still I want to cover, a couple fights that need to happen, a few dramatic reveals left, some last second surprises... But given how close we are to the end, less than ten chapters, I think. Which is actually kinda mind-blowing when you realize that would mean this arc would be more than 50 chapters long on its own.

The title this chapter is particularly well-earned. I'm sure it's quite obvious why I chose it.
Next chapter, as I'm sure you can see, will be an interlude, and a certain someone's presence will be explained there. Beyond that, however... I said before we're in Act 3 now, and I think I've said before that we're closing in on the end. That's only truer now, because we're gearing up for the final battle...s.
