Sourcing Water (Hurricane Prep)

That’s a pretty cool set up actually… never thought about using a dehumidifier… generally I just find and boil it. You should do more of these

2023-02-10 16:55:46 +0000 UTCHas anyone tested their Berkey water? Apparently their filters aren't actually certified. They are only 3rd party tested to ~1100 gallons. Berkey ran some computation to guess that their filters are good for filtering up 3000 gallons but it's not verified to my knowledge

2022-12-16 22:02:39 +0000 UTCI have a 50 watt panel that fits on my dash. Also a portable charger with no battery. You can lock the vehicle for safety and charge. Also good for rainy days you can leave it in the car and catch intermittent sun and not have to worry about water damage. Also in a pinch you can drag a tshirt or towel through the grass in the early morning and pick up the dew.

I can give the platform and u some live updates or warnings while I’m there. Headed to Jacksonville today should be in Tampa tommrow.
